December Transit Strike Update (15)

THIS POST IS A REPUBLISHED VERSION OF AN EMAIL COMMUNICATION SENT BY AUP Vice President for Security, Operations and Student Services Marc Montheard TO STUDENTS ON December 18, 2019, ABOUT THE TRANSIT STRIKE IN PARIS. IT IS PART OF OUR SAFETY & SECURITY BLOG THAT ROUNDS UP ALL THE LATEST NEWS AND UPDATES FOR OUR COMMUNITY.

The forecast for tomorrow is exactly the same as for today so I have just shared below the summary issued by the RATP.

The shuttle system put in place by AUP will continue on Thursday and Friday (2 buses to CDG, one at 04:30 and the other at 08:30 leaving from Combes).

It is still possible to reserve a spot on these buses by sending me an email prior to departure (first come first served for the people who have not filled out a reservation webform last week).

Please make sure to be in front of the Combes building at least 10 minutes before departure time.

As for Orly, only students who have reserved last week can be served and they have received a confirmation email already.

If you have not yet made plans (or if you leave Paris after Friday), please refer to my December 4 email as it contains resources to organize your own transportation to the airports.
