One more day to end this semester. Many of you have gone back home or are about to leave but many of you are also still around and still suffering because of the public transportation strike, so here is our last update until early January. (We will communicate with you in January only if necessary and only if the social conflict will not have been resolved and the strikes continue.
As I am writing this email, the Prime Minister and the main unions are about to share their views after a 2 hours of negotiations. Hopefully, tomorrow we will have a better idea whether or not there could be a pause in the conflict for the week of Christmas, but for now, no certitude regarding the evolution of the situation in January.
