Careerology: How to Make Employers Fight For You workshop for graduating students

Wednesday, April 27, 2016 - 18:00

Are you graduating this spring? The end of the semester likely means that you are on the hunt for an internship and/or job, so what better time to attend a career workshop to make sure you get hired?

AUP alum & Senior Hiring Manager at Oracle, Jay M’Bei will be holding his highly successful CAREEROLOGY 101 workshop exclusively for graduating AUP students.

Ever wondered how some folks manage to get hired even before they graduate? Why they get twice the average pay on their first job? How they manage to work exactly in the industry and for the company they wanted? …You can be one of those people!

Jay will show you how to get your dream job by becoming an industry professional even before you finish college. Things have changed a lot since the global economic crisis. But as for each crisis, the smart ones can take advantage of the situation by thinking out-of-the-box. This workshop will empower you with the knowledge and methodologies to become a real job-hunting wizard. Dream jobs are nowadays rarely found on job boards, classifieds or listed by employment agencies, so learn what you should really be doing.

If you’re still wondering what kind of job or industry you should work in, in this seminar Jay will show you with his own technique how to sketch your Personal Profile Radar Map and thus how you  “what you are really made for”. You will learn how to speak with your subconscious mind and get this usually uncontrollable element to now actually serve you. If your parents do not agree with your current career aspirations, you will learn how to get their unconditional and precious support.

A lot of the techniques and strategies presented in this workshop are used by Jay in his work as a Snr Manager and Strategic Advisor with various start-up companies, sales teams at Oracle and even Executives of CAC40 companies.

The dream job is the one that you shape and that you mold yourself into. Your success is only limited by the limits you set for yourself. Mindset is everything and it is built through inspirational stories and examples from others who started where you are now and then succeeded.
