University Room: PL-3
Monday, December 4, 2017 - 18:30 to 20:30

Professors Russell Williams (Comparative Literature) and Hannah Westley (Global Communications) are pleased to welcome journalist and editor Alice Pfeiffer to AUP for an informal panel discussion.

Alice Pfeiffer is one of the most interesting, engaging and informed commentators on contemporary culture in France. As well as editor-in-chief of fashion magazine Antidote, she also contributes to a range of publications in both French and English including Le Monde, The Guardian, Les Inrockuptibles the New York Times and Dazed & Confused. She graduated from the London School of Economics with a Master’s Degree in Gender Studies.

This event is an opportunity to hear about Alice Pfeiffer’s career trajectory, her experiences of both journalism and fashion as well as issues pertaining to contemporary global culture. It is organised in conjunction with Professor Williams’ CL3020 course in Production, Translation, Creation Publication and Professor Westley’s journalism course. The event also marks the launch of OfParis.org, a collaborative project created by CL3020 students. The project and the event are supported by the AUP Civic Media Lab. Refreshments will be provided.
