CL3038 Shakespeare in Context
Immerse yourself thoroughly in the world of theater during this visit to Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare’s birthplace and home of the Royal Shakespeare Company) and to London. Travel to London by Eurostar train on Thursday morning, and onward by private coach to Stratford. At a matinée performance see The Comedy of Errors, and then in the evening Troilus and Cressida. The following day, return to London by coach in time for a guided tour of the Globe Theater. And then in the evening, enjoy the play Macbeth at the Barbican Theatre. The following day, go to the Young Vic to see Twelfth Night, a Shakespeare musical adaptation, with music and lyrics by the critically acclaimed songwriter Shaina Taub. Travel back to Paris on Sunday afternoon by Eurostar.
