Associate Professor of Global Communications, Madeleine Czigler is a journalist and TV producer specializing in culture and sustainable fashion. Join us for her talk, "Sustainable Fashion: How the World is Finally Considering the Real Price of Clothes."

About the Speaker

Professor Czigler, a journalist and TV producer specializing in culture and fashion, has lived in Paris for two decades and contributes to the Canadian Broadcasting Co., Oprah, FQ and a number of fashion magazines.

As a documentary and series producer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Professor Czigler served as the Paris-based producer for the internationally acclaimed program Fashion File which aired in 74 countries and was seen by over 374 million people. Czigler was also the producer/director of Masters of Style - a six-part documentary series looking at the lives of top fashion designers such as John Galliano and Valentino. Czigler continues to write and post photos for the CBC New Media site.
