The AUP Magazine Looks Back at a Year Like No Other

The Fall 2020 issue of the AUP Magazine showcases inspiring stories from across the AUP community about the collective responses to the unique challenges that the past 12 months have produced. Titled “A Year Like No Other,” the issue focuses on innovative solutions to these unexpected problems and on the opportunities for developing new skills and creating new projects that the Covid-19 pandemic has provided. 

Whether reading about the University-wide switch to temporary remote learning, the community’s response to Black Lives Matter, or our alumni’s agility in responding to changing careers, you’ll find evidence of the solidarity, adaptability and empathy that have been so firmly on display among global explorers throughout this tumultuous year. Staff, faculty, students, alumni and trustees have contributed their stories to this special magazine issue for exceptional times. 

The digital version of the AUP Magazine is out now and available to read below. A print run of this issue will be available once AUP’s campus reopens in the new year. Past issues of the magazine are available on the AUP website and have covered diverse topics such as campus redevelopment projects, faculty research and alumni careers.
