Dr. Betz’s research focuses on the intersection of traditional and contemporary art practices, particularly in the areas of landscape painting, figure drawing, and the role of art in public spaces. He is also interested in the pedagogical approaches to teaching art in diverse educational settings.  Dr. Betz has made significant contributions to visual arts, particularly in drawing, painting, and sculpture. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions across the United States and internationally, and he has been recognized with several prestigious awards and residencies.
