AUP Blum

AUP RESIDENCE, AVAILABLE TO FULL-YEAR STUDENTS (FALL & SPRING)

AUP Blum is a newly renovated residence in the 11th arrondissement designed to offer students a co-living experience, with shared apartments composed of a mix of single and double rooms for a total of 48 residence. With two AUP Resident Assistants on-site to support students’ residential experience, students will enjoy a rich sense of community and comfort at the residence, both with their immediate roommates and housemates and with their AUP peers in the hall. Residents will also have access to a communal area in the residence to connect with the AUP Blum community and enjoy programming organized by their RAs.

Co-living apartments have bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, and fully-equipped kitchens. The co-living options available to students assigned to AUP Blum include primarily 6-person apartments (two singles and two doubles), in addition to a very limited number of 4-person (four singles) and 2-person (one double or two singles) apartments.  Students will be able to indicate their preferences for a co-living space when submitting the roommate survey, however, please note that we cannot make any guarantees about specific assignments, nor are we able to fulfill full group requests, as we have to balance personal preferences, roommate requests, and housemate fit in our unit assignments. We recommend AUP Blum to students who are looking for a co-living experience in a comfortable environment, and who want to connect with neighbors and explore AUP and Paris with their new peers.

ON-SITE SUPPORT: 2 Resident Assistants.

THE AUP INSIDER TIP:

The AUP Blum Residence offers a great opportunity for shared living as well as community-building within an AUP hub in the 11th arrondissement, a vibrant and lively neighborhood popular with both students in the city and young professionals. Much like our other AUP-only residences, it is the perfect setting for first-year students to begin their college career on exactly the right note. It also allows students to take full ownership of their space, much like they will once they move into a Parisian apartment during the rest of their AUP experience.

roommate requests in housing preference form

Roommate requests in the housing preference form can be made for double rooms or single rooms in AUP Blum, as some apartments include a configuration of multiple single and double rooms. Please note, however, that we cannot accommodate group roommate and housemate requests for a full Blum apartment in the housing preference form stage.
