The Department of Global Communications presents a Public Lecture by Sultan Al Qassemi '98 entitled "An Overview of the Media Landscape in the Arab World".
Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi is one of AUP's most visible and active alumni, both in terms of his own work in the international arts sector, and as a journalist, writer and commentator on politics and world affairs. He is a member of the Global Commission on Internet Governance and is an MIT Media Lab Director's Fellow. He is a columnist at The National in Abu Dhabi and has been published in various publications including Foreign Policy, The Guardian, The Independant and CNN. He was previously a fellow of the Dubai School of Government.
