London & Stratford Upon Avon Study Trip

CL3038 Shakespeare in Context

Immerse yourself thoroughly in the world of theater during this visit to Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare’s birthplace and home of the Royal Shakespeare Company) and to London. Travel to London by Eurostar train on Thursday morning, and onward by private coach to Stratford. At a matinée performance see Julius Caesar, and then in the evening Anthony and Cleopatra. The following day, return to London by coach in time for a guided tour of the Globe Theater. And then in the evening, enjoy the play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead starring Daniel Radcliffe at the Old Vic. The following day, go to the Young Vic Theatre to see A Midsummer Night’s Dream. On Sunday, return to the Globe for a performance of Othello. Travel back to Paris in the afternoon by Eurostar.

Cost: €750 (includes round-trip train transportation, hotel accommodations with breakfast, on-site public transportation, on-site private coach transfers, theater tickets, entrance fees, guided visits and lectures, professor’s trip costs, and VAT)
