University Room: David T. McGovern Grand Salon (C-104)
6, rue du Colonel Combes, 75007 Paris
Wednesday, February 5, 2020 - 18:30 to 20:00

The President's Office is partnering with the International Business Department to provide an opportunity for AUP students to learn more, directly from our celebrated speaker, about her career trajectory and choices, advice for balancing life and work, and guidance for future entrepreneurs.

Beatrice Cointreau served as former President and CEO of Champagne Gosset and Cognac Frapin, and former Board member and director of the Renaud-Cointreau Group. Cointreau is currently President and CEO of Admirable Malibu Wines & ByB Ventures and a board member of both Women of the Vine & Spirit LLC and Foundation.  She holds a BA degree from the Institute Supérieur de Gestion and a degree in Oeneology from the Université de Bordeaux, as well as Master's degrees in Marketing and Communications ((ESP) and Private and Commercial Law (Panthéon Assas).  She is also holds an MBA from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management, and has completed Insead's International Director Program.  Beatrice Cointreau has also received the distinction of Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur.  Great granddaughter of the founder of Cointreau Liqueur, granddaughter of the founder of Rémy Martin, Beatrice has fine wine and spirits in her blood, but has put into action her own personal values of entrepreneurialism and creativity in both life and work.

The evening will take the form of a presentation by Beatrice Cointreau, followed by an informal Q&A in interview format with President Schenck. Participants are warmly invited to ask questions about any aspect of the presentation over wine and cheese.
