The eight session of the Care & Democracy Seminar Series will host Pascale Molinier (Sorbonne Paris Nord) for a talk on "Lutter contre la verticalité, un vœu pieux ? Care et recherche participative dans un dispositif d'entraide avec des personnes en souffrance psychique".

The Care & Democracy Seminar Series explores how the relational dimensions of care, traditionally centered on dependency and moral responsibility, can deepen our understanding of democratic practices. By examining care as a normative and political framework, the seminars interrogate how care ethics challenges conventional liberal-democratic ideals, reshaping conceptions of citizenship, power, and social cohesion. The Seminar Series is organized by Sandra Laugier (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) and Zona Zarić (AUP).
