Please join The Combes Gallery staff and the AUP community for an exhibition entitled "Pussy Grabs Back: Methods of Intimidation” by Daniel Aaron Schwartz. The vernissage will take place 6, rue du Colonel Combes, 75007 Paris on Thursday, April 13th from 18h00 to 20h30. The exhibition lasts through April 29th.
Daniel Aaron Schwartz was born in New York. He attended Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude in Visual & Environmental Studies. He continually explores different forms of expression, from painting, photography, mixed media and design.
Currently as Executive Producer at Travel Channel, he creates and oversees production on TV series that take him across the globe. These travels stimulate his art.
Starting with collages in the 1990’s, and up to his recent Free Pussy Riot series, he is inspired by dreams and cultural memory. His work explores the fragility of existence by evoking loss, hope and transformation. The Artist lives and works in Knoxville, TN.
