Art in Embassies Webinar

Tuesday, December 1, 2020 - 17:00 to 18:00

On December 1, 2020 at 17:00 CET/Paris time, Ambassador Jamie D. McCourt and U.S. Embassy Public Affairs section in Paris are pleased to present a virtual event for France-based art students featuring two of the artists showcased in the Art in Embassies Paris exhibition: U.S. artist Blair Thurman and French-American artist Jules de Balincourt. This will be held via Zoom for a closed audience of university-level students and their professors.  The talk will be moderated by NPR Paris correspondent Eleonor Beardsley who will engage with the two artists about their experiences, their approaches to art, and how the French and U.S. art worlds mutually influence each other. The audience will have the opportunity to engage directly with the artists. The event will be in English and last approximately an hour.
