The youth force is a valuable and essential component of any national or continental development. Their relevance elevates them to the rank of a "must" in a wide range of sectors, and the emergence of the African continent is no exception to this. In this light, H.E. Anna Bossman, Ambassador of Ghana in France will host a talk on what truly is at stake with the growth of brain drain. Inversely, she will address the responsibility of African governments in providing the right environment to retain the youths who want to leave and attract those who have already left. It is important to pinpoint that the Diaspora is important, but Africans on African land are fundamentally indispensable for the emergence and elevation of Africa.
Although seemingly Afrocentric, this talk is, in fact, a call to AUP's diversity addressing particularly its youth (among which leaders will evolve) on the importance of going back to their various continents or countries if they aspire to bring any form of substantial change or have a meaningful impact in their community.
The team of Inspire Africa is delighted to welcome you on April 6th in C103 and C104 to this special event! Opened to outside guests as well, registration is mandatory.
