Cambronne

Cambronne is a newly renovated residence in the 15th arrondissement opened in August 2024. The residence will host a significant community of 34 AUP students. The residence offers a unique co-living experience with its Home design – each unit, or “Home”, is comprised of 12 single rooms (each with a private en-suite bathroom) in a duplex apartment that also houses a large lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen for the 12 residents of the unit. AUP has reserved four Cambronne Homes for our AUP students, with remaining homes housing non-AUP tenants.

With its modern design and its emphasis on the co-living experience, Cambronne offers our students the opportunity to have private space for study and rest, and shared space to connect to their peers in meaningful ways. Our two AUP Resident Assistants on site will be available to help with everyday questions, in addition to organizing programming for the AUP community to foster rich and positive relationships.

The residence is in an area of the 15th arrondissement with easy access to traditional French shops and bakeries. The neighborhood is home to young professionals and families alike, with a plethora of restaurants and easy access to public transportation.

Important Note: Homes in Cambronne are assigned to students without consideration of gender and sex identities. This means that each Home will have mixed assignments in sex and gender.

THE AUP INSIDER TIP:

The Cambronne residence offers a unique opportunity for shared living. If you are eager to connect with a group of AUP housemates and are looking for a shared housing experience while also having the balance of a private bedroom, this would be a great fit for you! It is important to keep in mind that with a shared kitchen space, communication and compromise are paramount for an enjoyable living experience; if you are an avid cook with particular needs for your kitchen space, we suggest looking through our single studio offering instead.

ROOMMATE REQUESTS IN HOUSING PREFERENCE FORM

Roommate requests in the housing preference form can be made for single rooms in Cambronne, as all units are composed of single rooms only. Please note that we cannot accommodate group roommate and housemate requests (meaning more than two students requesting each other) for a Cambronne Home in the housing preference form stage.
