Aziz is a scholar in New Media and Digital Visual Cultures. Her current research involves examining Visual generative Media and Text-to-Image models used in Visual AI tools. She obtained her PhD in Visual Cultures from the Écoles des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. Her dissertation examined the processes of representing and interpreting identities on social network sites. She conducted a preliminary study of the processes of fame and influence in her Master’s degree in Information and Communication Sciences from the Paris-Université.
