Peter Walkenhorst

Professor Walkenhorst, a German national, teaches courses in the History and Politics and the Economics and Management Department. Prior to joining AUP, he worked as division manager in the Research Department of the African Development Bank, as senior economist in the World Bank’s Poverty Reduction & Economic Management Network, and as economist in the OECD’s Departments for economics, trade, and agriculture. He holds a PhD in applied economics from Stanford University, and degrees in agricultural sciences and economics from University of Bonn.
